Jon Power, Sr., OL - Toms River North

A converted tight end, Power, a guard, was the best offensive lineman on the school's first 12-0 team, Power led the way for an offense that averaged 280 yards per game against Shore Conference competition and averaged 26 points per game. Senior quarterback Anthony Penna also threw a school-record 18 touchdown passes. The Mariners won the American Division title and senior running back Marlon Brinson ran for 116 yards in the clincher over a tough Toms River East defense. Toms River North then captured its first state sectional title since 1997 and fifth in school history. His college choices include The College of New Jersey, Gettysburg, Moravian and Montclair.
