Jason Amato, Sr., UT - Howell
A strong all-around player for a team that won the first state sectional title in school history, Amato had five interceptions, including two in the Central Jersey Group IV final against West Windsor South, one of which he returned for a touchdown. He also had 59 tackles, five for a loss, and five pass break-ups. Also a threat as a wide receiver, he had 40 catches for 709 yards and eight touchdowns to help the Rebels set a school record with 11 wins and capture the Constitution Division title.
